Reputation and Brand Strategist
Nancy has spent her career advising boards of directors, CEOs and executive leadership teams on transformation, reputation and purpose in roles including Chief Communications Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of several Fortune 500 companies. Her drive and passion for shaping vision, redefining brands, and innovating in corporate responsibility, has earned her the reputation as one of the leading strategic thinkers and collaborators in the industry.
Most recently, Nancy was the Chief Communications Officer of Mattel where she oversaw strategy for all key functions including reputation, employee engagement, government affairs, investor relations, corporate social responsibility, childhood learning and development, and the Mattel Children’s Foundation. While Chief Communications Officer of JetBlue Airways, she led all facets of communications, and expanded the mission-driven company into new customer segments through inventive partnerships with TEDx, Nature Conservancy, New Lab, and the White House American Business Act on Climate Pledge. Additionally, while at JetBlue, she served on Governor Cuomo's New York State Tourism Advisory Council, was a member of the JetBlue Technology Ventures Investment Committee, and was appointed a David Rockefeller Fellow.
Following the 2008 financial crisis, Nancy started advising exclusively on ESG and corporate responsibility. Subsequently, she co-founded Matter Unlimited, a strategic and creative firm formed to serve organizations committed to making change in the world, organizations such as the Clinton Global Initiative, TED, and Enterprise Community Partners. Earlier in her career, she worked on a number of transformative global communication strategies and programs including the Mastercard "Priceless" campaign, GE's "Imagination at Work," and Marsh’s “Find the Upside.”
Nancy is a FSG-certified, shared-value consultant, a member of the Arthur Page Society, and a board member of GrowNYC, the Ad Council, and the Montauk Playhouse. She graduated from University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
